Recipients are the contacts enrolled in an outbound campaign. Each recipient has a status, next step, related conversation, and outcome when available.

Add a contact to an outbound

You can add a contact from the contact detail page:
  1. Open a contact.
  2. Find the Outbounds section.
  3. Click Add to outbound.
  4. Search for the outbound campaign.
  5. Add the contact.

Recipient status

Recipients can be active, paused, completed, or in another campaign-specific state. Use the status column to understand whether Clearline is still working the sequence for that contact. When a recipient has a conversation, open it from the outbound recipient table. The conversation shows the messages, calls, assignment, contacts, and team activity tied to that recipient.

Before enrolling recipients

  • Confirm compliance settings are configured.
  • Confirm the sequence has no setup warnings.
  • Confirm senders are configured.
  • Confirm each recipient has the contact fields required by the selected channels.
