Appointment types define what customers can book. Create appointment types from Settings → Appointment types.

Create an appointment type

  1. Go to Settings → Appointment types.
  2. Click Add appointment type.
  3. Enter a title.
  4. Optionally add a description.
  5. Set the duration in minutes.
  6. Continue into the appointment type editor.
Clearline creates a slug from the title and assigns the first available active workspace member as the initial advisor.

Configure:
  • Title shown to customers.
  • Color used in scheduling views.
  • Description shown on the booking page.
  • Duration in minutes.

Advisors and routing

Add team members who can be booked. Then choose an assignment strategy:
StrategyBehavior
First availableBooks the first advisor with matching availability.
Round robinDistributes appointments across advisors.
Contact ownerPrefers the contact owner when available.

Availability

Configure the weekly schedule, buffers, minimum notice, maximum advance days, and time-slot interval. Times are shown in the workspace timezone.

Advanced policy

Advanced settings control whether bookings require manual confirmation and whether customers can cancel or reschedule.
