Create a new outbound campaign from the Outbound area when you want Clearline to follow up with a list of contacts.

Before you begin

  • Add and verify any email domains you want to send from.
  • Add phone numbers for SMS or calls.
  • Configure compliance settings and contact limits.
  • Confirm your contacts have the email addresses or phone numbers required by the outreach methods.

Create the campaign

  1. Go to Outbound.
  2. Click New outbound.
  3. Enter a campaign name.
  4. Describe the campaign goal.
  5. Select one or more outreach methods: Email, Text message, or Phone call.
  6. Choose the sequence length.
  7. Click Create outbound.
Clearline creates the outbound and starts generating a sequence draft.

Write a useful goal

The campaign goal should tell the agent:
  • Which contacts you are targeting.
  • Why you are contacting them.
  • What outcome you want.
  • Which details to mention or avoid.
  • When to offer booking or escalation.
Example:
Follow up with customers whose leases expire in the next 90 days.
Ask whether they want to schedule a test drive for current models.
If they are interested, offer to book an appointment with the sales team.
