# Profile settings

> Configure your personal profile, inbox entry point, preferences, and formatting.

Use **Settings → Profile** for settings that affect only your account.

## Profile

Your profile includes:

* **Name**: the display name teammates see in assignments, activity, and conversation context.
* **Email**: your account email. Contact support if it needs to change.

## Personal inbox

The **Personal Inbox** section shows the channels connected to your personal inbox. If you have a personal phone number or personal email receiver, you can click **Manage channels** to review connected channels.

If no personal channels are configured, click **Set up** to go to connected channels.

## Preferences

| Setting               | What it controls                            |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| **Default home view** | Which view opens when you launch Clearline. |
| **Interface theme**   | The app theme for your account.             |

## Regional and formatting

You can override the workspace default date and time format for your own account.

  Workspace timezone is set by admins from **Settings → Workspace**. Personal date and time format affects display, not scheduling rules.
