# Outbound campaigns overview

> Use AI-generated outreach sequences across email, SMS, and phone calls.

Outbound campaigns help your team reach contacts with multi-step sequences. A campaign starts with a goal, selected outreach methods, and sequence length. Clearline generates a draft sequence that you review before enrolling recipients.

## Campaign building blocks

| Object    | Description                                                                     |
| --------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Campaign  | The outbound workspace for a goal, such as lease renewals or service reminders. |
| Sequence  | Ordered steps such as send email, wait, send SMS, call, or end.                 |
| Sender    | The email domain/address or phone number used for a send step.                  |
| Recipient | A contact enrolled in the campaign.                                             |
| Trigger   | The starting rule or signal that starts the sequence.                           |

## Supported outreach methods

* **Email** for longer personalized messages.
* **Text message** for short SMS follow-ups.
* **Phone call** for AI-powered voice outreach.
